Five starting configurations built to fit different budgets and backyards — every one of them fully customizable, plus fully custom builds for homeowners who want to start from a blank page.
Choosing a custom pool can feel like an open-ended decision with no clear starting point. Dolphin Pools' five Paradise Pool Packages exist to solve that — each one is a sensible, well-built starting configuration for a particular budget and backyard vision, and every element within it can be adjusted to fit your Surprise property.
We don't publish fixed prices for these packages, because two identical-looking pools on two different Surprise lots rarely cost the same to build. Lot access, soil conditions, decking selections, permit and HOA requirements, and the features you choose all affect the final number. What we can tell you upfront is what each package is designed around, so you can walk into your design consultation already knowing which starting point makes sense for you.
Think of these five packages less like products on a shelf and more like five different starting conversations. Paradise Plunge starts the conversation around a smaller footprint and a leaner budget. Complete Paradise starts it around a full backyard transformation. None of them lock you in — they exist so you're not starting from a completely blank page when you sit down with a designer, and so two homeowners with very different goals aren't shown the same generic pitch.
A few questions tend to point homeowners toward the right package before they ever meet with a designer. How big is the usable backyard space, and how much of it should stay open for seating, turf or landscaping? Is this pool mainly for a young family, for entertaining, or for a quieter daily-use retreat? Is a spa part of the vision now, or something to leave room for later? And is the pool the whole project, or one piece of a larger backyard renovation that also includes decking, shade structures or landscaping?
Smaller lots and tighter budgets tend to start at Paradise Plunge or Paradise Essentials. Homeowners who want a spa option and upgraded finishes without going all-in on luxury tend to land on Paradise Plus. Larger properties built around entertaining or resort-style features tend toward Ultimate Paradise. And anyone planning a full backyard — not just a pool — is usually best served starting the conversation at Complete Paradise, even if the final scope ends up different.
Each package is a starting configuration. Every feature, finish and dimension can be adjusted during your design consultation.
A compact, quality-built gunite pool sized for smaller Surprise backyards, courtyard lots and patio-focused properties. Ideal for homeowners who want genuine custom construction without a large-format footprint. This is the entry point into custom pool ownership — the pool is smaller in scale, but it's built with the same gunite construction, engineering standards and warranty coverage as every other package.
Paradise Plunge tends to work well on newer-construction lots in Surprise where the buildable backyard footprint is naturally tighter, and on any property where the goal is a genuine pool without dedicating the majority of the yard to it.
Best for: smaller lots, courtyard-style backyards, homeowners prioritizing budget without giving up gunite construction.

A full-size custom gunite pool with energy-saving equipment, built for growing Surprise families who want a genuine backyard centerpiece without premium upgrades. This is the package most homeowners picture when they think "custom pool" — full-size, properly engineered, and finished with equipment chosen to keep long-term operating costs reasonable rather than the cheapest available option.
Paradise Essentials suits standard residential lots across Surprise's established neighborhoods, where there's enough backyard to build a full-size pool without needing the additional decking, lighting or automation upgrades that come with the packages above it.
Best for: standard-size residential lots, families wanting a durable everyday pool with efficient equipment.

Upgraded lighting, custom decking and the option to add a spa, for homeowners who want their pool to stand out rather than blend into a standard backyard. This is our most requested starting point, which usually comes down to the spa option — a lot of Surprise homeowners want the flexibility to soak on a cool evening without committing to a full luxury build.
The upgraded decking in this package also opens up more finish choices — travertine, pavers or stamped concrete instead of the standard finish — which tends to matter most to homeowners planning to use the pool area for entertaining rather than just swimming.
Best for: homeowners who entertain, want a spa option, and are ready for upgraded finishes over the essentials.

Premium finishes, smart automation and advanced water features for a complete luxury pool experience on larger Surprise properties. Full smart-home style control — lighting, temperature, water features and cleaning cycles managed from your phone — comes standard at this tier, along with the option for waterfalls, sheer descents or grottos that need more backyard space to look right.
This package tends to suit larger lots along the Loop 303 corridor and in Surprise's newer master-planned communities, where the backyard footprint supports a genuinely resort-style layout rather than a compact one.
Best for: larger lots and homeowners who want top-tier finishes and full smart-home style pool control.

Luxury pool construction plus complete outdoor living and landscaping — patio covers, kitchens, turf and more — delivered as one coordinated backyard transformation through a single contract. This is the package for homeowners who don't want to manage a pool contractor, a landscaper and an outdoor living contractor separately, and don't want to live through three overlapping construction schedules.
Everything from the pool shell to the putting green gets planned together from day one, which also tends to produce a more cohesive final result than adding outdoor living pieces on separately after the pool is already finished.
Best for: homeowners planning a full backyard renovation, not just a pool.
